Vichyapoo is an associate in the Firm’s corporate & commercial practice group. He has extensive experience in advising Thai and international clients seeking guidance through Thailand’s legal framework.
He is well versed in corporate shareholding and other matters related to investments and corporate setup, obtaining Foreign Business Licenses and Foreign Business Certificates, and overseeing corporate licensing processes. He also focuses on mergers and acquisitions, including providing transaction support and managing closing processes to ensure successful outcomes.
He also assists clients in setting up both onshore and offshore entities and has worked extensively with PDLegal’s tax team supporting clients on corporate matters.
Having grown up in both Thailand and Australia, Vichyapoo brings a unique perspective to his practice, enabling him to effectively assist international clients and navigate cross-border legal matters with ease and precision.

- Assisted a leading Thai distributor of scientific instruments on a comprehensive corporate restructuring, including the establishment of offshore entities and the closing of a share sale transaction valued at over THB 1 billion.
- Successfully led the establishment of a representative office in Thailand for a major Philippine omni-channel beauty products distributor, ensuring full compliance with Thai regulations.
- Coordinated an anti-dumping investigation for Vietnam’s leading stainless-steel manufacturer in collaboration with Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade.
- Successfully obtained a Foreign Business Certificate under the US-Thai Treaty of Amity for an American garment manufacturer, enabling its operations in Thailand.
- Represented a Singaporean animal rescuer in negotiating the recovery of funds lost to an animal food-related fraud, resulting in the fraudster repaying the victim.
