Karanaporn primarily focuses on Corporate and Commercial laws and securities regulations. She has extensive experience in a wide range of practice areas including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, initial public offerings (IPOs), labour laws, foreign direct investments and related licensing matters.
Karanaporn’s clientele includes private family businesses, publicly listed companies, as well as institutional investors and fund managers. Her dedication to clients and commitment to excellence have earned her recognition, with deals she contributed to being awarded ‘Remarkable’ by LegalOne Merits in 2024.
Karanaporn holds an LL.B. from Thammasat University and received her LL.M. degrees from the University of Kent and Queen Mary University of London respectively.
Fluent in both Thai and English, she is also a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and the Thai Bar Association.
- Assisted a PE Fund on the acquisition of shares in a company operating a veterinary hospital with approximately 20 branches in Thailand for approximately US$47 billion.
- Assisted a listed company on the acquisition of shares in the pharmaceutical company for approximately US$90 million.
- Assisted a company operating restaurants in Thailand with approximately 10 branches on the disposal of shares to a listed company for approximately US$5 million.
- Assisted a motor parts manufacturing company to list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
- Assisted a sticker label manufacturing company to list on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI).
